I was wondering if the tipx pistol will still fire with the co2 Cartridge when the remote adaptor upgrade has been installed.

Yes, it will. If you want to use the remote however, you have to put an empty 12 gram in the pistol.

Also, if you are using Co2 through the remote line on the TIPX and you remove the line... the cartridge will now be charged from the remote line and you will have another 3-4 solid shots, and a few lower velocity shots...
Where normal Tippmann's when you unhook the line they degass, the Tipx with remote line adapter does not, so be careful, as just because you disconnected it, and have an "empty" 12 gram inside, don't think there isn't air in your gun as it WILL shoot full force for almost an entire mag... Compressed air will only give you about 1 shot though once disconnected... As it doesn't compress like co2.
