I have TCR #390, and it is SO amazing! I just love this marker.
Here are some videos I have made of it. And a testing video where I shoot FSR through a ceramic 16 inch J&J, vs my MonsterSpin barrel and also regular paint through the J&J, I also tested out (at 12:30) the Lapco 12 inch Big shot in .687 bore size with the Apex 2 tip. And here are a bunch of different looks you can do with it, by removing or changing components, and barrels. I call this the "CQB" TCR This is the "Minimalist" TCR with my Tipx so you can compare the sizes (I have a 7 1/2 inch new style A-5 barrel on the TCR). Here is my "sniper" setup for the TCR. 16 inch J&J, Bipod grip, sights set for drop at range, (flipped on purpose, as I use the straight line and the notch in the folded down sight to aim by). Using FSR And by flipping the block, you can use it with a hopper as well. The front shroud removes, and obviously will be an "add on" upgrade to make this a longer platform rifle in the future. I LOVE this marker, easily the coolest Tippmann I now own, and I have a LOT of Tippmann markers... Here are a few I have used in the past month on my Instagram.

I must say the TCR looks really great. Its cool to see how the first strike rounds actually do help. If I wanted to go magfed I would definitely buy one, but lately I've been leaning towards buying a phantom. Would you say the TCR is better than the TiPX? Also I was curious can you use the mags from the TCR in the TIPX? Oh and is there a specific reason you took off the mag holder on the stock? On a side note would you recommend using a lapco bigshot with an apex tip or just sticking with the stock apex barrel? Just in general because I want to buy a apex and am unsure of whether or not I should try switching the tip to another barrel or not.

I have the Tipx and TCR, they are two different things in my eyes. The Tipx is a GREAT sidearm, which is why I have mine, and I use it when I want to have a gun in both hands. (I shoot mine left handed).
The TCR is much larger, has a stock, and is a primary gun. So I can see myself using both, but never using the TCR as a secondary... It is just too big. It will run hopper fed as well as mag fed, so it is a great "all around" marker. And will hold its value for a good while, as they will be hard to get as Tippmann is going to sell a TON of the TCR's. The internals are way better than the Tipx. It is more consistent, shot to shot, the 12 gram quick changer is awesome, and the built in remote line works REALLY well. As far as barrels go, I'm a backspin guy so I am biased... I always want to shoot backspin, which sacrifices a bit of left to right accuracy but gains flat shots, and much longer range. So it depends on your preference. The stock TCR barrel is good, I just like changing barrels as I had a lot to choose from since I'm an A-5 guy... And that is what it uses. The stock apex barrel is fine depending on the paint you are using, the lapco is high dollar... And the difference between it and the regular apex is pretty minor. Paint is the most important thing. I just wanted to try the lapco because I had heard how much better it was than other barrels. Its nice, but I don't think it is enough of a difference to justify the price. It sure looks cool on my TCR though! As that TCR with Apex looks amazing!
