A-5 E-Grip not working with expansion chamber

   Hi. I bought my Tippmann a5 with an expansion chamber. I recently purchased the egrip and the 98-06 adapter that is supposed to make it fit the expansion chamber gasline. The fit is fine, but the gasline is too long and I can not get the adapter to screw into the egrip, and the gasline doesn't seem to want to bend too much. I can not find anything about this issue online. Should I just force the gasline to make it fit or should I try to find a shorter gasline. I haven't been able to find one so far. I feel like it should just fit, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?
