Hello,
I just bought and installed the Respond Trigger on my older (single valve) Tippmann A5. I'm able to fire my gun upon completing the install but it looks like the RT isn't working. The only thing i didn't install cause the manual doesn't mentioned it either is the Low Pressure Orifice, i couldn't figure out where that goes or if it affects anything on my RT. Any help guys would truly help me on this. Called Tippmann but waiting for a call back.

Hello too !!!
Do you mean with single valve like i got in my one ? So iīve got only one valve Output channel not like newer with 2 ones ! You have a small adjustment screw on top of the elbow which goes into the grip. Turn it right to the endpoint(no high force needed, end is end), start Shooting and turn each shoot left 1/4 turn till you feel the Piston behind the Trigger is going to work than less turn till itīs fine for you !!! |

Mmhhh Looks for me at the first look like the hose(pipe) which connects the gasline between Body and gripframe !?!?!? New A5 Gripframes are higher than old ones may this RT-Set you got is for use in booth models(old and new) !!! What size does this Thing on the pic have ??? |

So i installed all the new hoses the kit comes which upgrades the hoses to 1/8 and i used the banjo provided to direct one hose to the cyclone feeder and the other to the RT. Cyclone is working without an issue, RT isn't. These are the hoses. As you can see the last thing is the same part i'm talking about but i have no idea where the heck that goes.

If thereīs a leak in the gasline of the RT you wont get enough pressure to get him work.
Can you blow through the RT Banjo or is the set screw in a wrong Position ? A pic of your Installation would help may !!! |

No Problem thanks for the pics !!! Looks good from Outside what i see !!!
I took some pics too so itīs easier for me to explain cause iīm german ! 1. My RT set screw your one same high ? 2. When you installed that Banjo there is the screw with i think 3 O-Rings, did you nothing damaged by intalling (much oil an slide in with very low force) 3. When you put gripframe and Body together be shure that they are in the same line cause if not you could damage that O-Ring If there is a leak somewhere in the RT gasline(valve to Piston) it canīt work also if the set screw isnīt in right Position !!! Hope we will get this done soon !!! |
