I've been on a couple with the family when I was younger. I'd much rather go to an all inclusive.

Never been on a cruise. Don't see the point.

Boy ain't that the truth... I went a couple years ago, and didn't buy the drinks package, thinking I could smuggle enough alcohol onboard that combined with island days, I wouldn't need it. Booyyyyyy did I severely underestimate how much those days at sea bar tabs add up when you start in the morning and your whole day revolves around drinking. Not to mention the casino, though I'm not a huge gambler.

The fear is over, so everyone went back to ignoring this place...
I went on a cruise the other day. Having everything linked to the sail and sign credit card can put you in a hole quickly. |

Ok, I'll play...
I graduated high school in 2008 (yeah, I haven't posted in a while) went to college, and now hold one associates degree, two bachelor's degrees, and I have have plans to pursue a master's degree. I have been a police officer for three years, and I love my job. That being said, I still have plans in mind to advance my career. I also met a girl that I feel pretty confident will become Mrs. Glazener24. I hope you all are doing well.

Yep! Seems pretty much like a lock too at this point so long as I don't royally screw up. It'll be a completely different world, but one I think I'm suited for. There'll be more travel for sure, but it should be fairly local (max 1 state away). While the money isn't stellar, it's well above what I'd max out at with a unit-level position, and the fact that I'd have a lot of autonomy over my schedule would be excellent. |

Bought a house, which I'm enjoying throwing money into. Just had to drop almost 8 grand into a furnace/central air. I'm about to start my 3rd semester in my MBA program, and have found grad school to be relatively easy and very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to it. Still working in the same hospital lab I've been at for 9 years now which seems like forever. I'm the lead tech now, which has given me more responsibility, and a good jumping off point for when my MBA will pay off. Been trying to bike a lot more and explore our new neighborhood. We're only 2 miles from Lake Michigan, so there's some great parks and trails to bum around on.
I miss paintball, but surprisingly not the tournament stuff that I played a lot in college. I miss the backyard rec games, and the woodsball big games that I used to play waaaaay back when. Unfortunately, the money is not there because I picked up different hobbies. Like Tallen, I've been shooting a lot of shotgun lately. On the sporting clays course I consider it a bad day if I slip under 40 out of 50.

My life last year was a bad country song. This year things are settling into an equilibrium, but I'm bouncing around several different options for my future work/home wise, so I don't have anything exciting going on yet.

It's a shame that the New River Academy went completely online a few years back. It'd have been perfect for you. It was a boarding school for young professional kayakers right on the New River Gorge in WV.

Did a year in the ROK teaching English, fell in love then left her for the career path I also love
Moved home, got one of those foot-in-the-door subbing jobs that didn't play out Kept working at a summer camp in an outdoor ed program, mountain guide and swift-water rescue training, lots of hikes and canoe trips Hunting for a better job in education and on the cusp of one I really, really, want that combines social studies and outdoor education Lots of big weddings in the last year and coming months while I remain quite happily married to work Shoot, hunt, and fish not nearly enough while I live in the suburbs, but am conveniently close to the river so I can kayak to my heart's content, plotting my return to rural-life Continue to make amazing international friends, meet and work with retired pro-athletes, and keep my oldest and dearest friends close Yeah, it's been a fun couple of years not being too active on here. A lot of work with few rewards yet, but darn good nonetheless

Oh boy do they ever! Two weeks ago: Gettysburg Auction. 1923 Lefever Nitro Special by Ithaca. SxS 12ga 26" barrels. One cylinder one full. Original furniture with exception of butt-pad. All matching serials (including wood) This morning: Burger King parking lot. 1965 Stoeger Zephyr Woodlander by Victor Sarasqueta of Spain. SxS 20ga 27.5" barrels. One modified, one full. All matching. These make #3 and #4 in my side-by-side collection next to my Riverside double-hammer 30" (Cylinder, Full) and Baker Batavia Leader 30" (Modified, Full). I also picked up a Wards Western Field 600A ERI last fall along with a Savage 720 (A5) this spring. Probably going to refinish the stock on the 1897 Winchester and offload it soon along with the 7.62 conversion Spanish Mauser I have. |

Nothing much to add. I bought a pop-up camper and plan on spending more time camping. I also became an Emergency Vehicle Operation instructor, so I got to spend a week driving the wheels off of a Ford Explorer (I can't believe I got paid to do it).
