I found out you can delete FB instead of just deactivating. I knew what they were doing, so the recent scandal was no surprise. But it was the icing on the cake. Mostly it just got more terrible. Ads, "you're friend liked this" "you're friend commented on that", the sharing of crap I didn't want to see, politics, blah blah blah. I tried un-following people, but that was only a band-aid.
So the only social media I participate on now is a few select forums and Reddit. And even Reddit is starting to go downhill.

Guys... Colorado is super nice. Everyone is friendly, it's beautiful, the air seems fresher...
Major updates: I'm officially done with Texas. I secured a super cute little town home, but I won't be able to move in until April 3rd. I'm at an extended stay hotel until then. Seems like a nice place, and the cost is a little better than standard rent around here. My new job is really kicking my derriere, but in a good way. There's only four of us here, and we are doing everything, including shop renovations. I'm doing all sorts of handyman stuff I've never done before. Boss ain't afraid to work me, and I gotta hit the ground running. |

Speaking of loan department. Received a call today saying I was approved for the 1.9% loan on the Tacoma.... I've never had a car payment, and somehow can't fully justify having a new car.

Dooooo Eeeet! I can count the months I haven't had a car payment in my adult life on my fingers and toes. It's just part of life with the miles we drive (me and my wife) so we budget for it. |
