Wife's new Tucson was purchased mid-October. Currently sitting at 13,233. My Legacy is 6.5 years old. Currently at 150k.

It's all commuting miles which wears the hell out of the cars.

It will be nice to know how a vehicle has been treated since day one, especially with a manual transmission.

On my 2006 CRV I currently have, when I went to change the cabin filter the previous person somehow lost the parts that hold the filters in properly... So the old ones were just sitting in there. I will also be getting rid of my 2003 Suburban, which is slowly becoming a money pit. It'll be nice to consolidate to one reliable vehicle, especially since I'll be moving across states in the near future. Moving two cars sucked.

I bought a Camry at 0% APR and built a computer; however, my wife is not knocked up. I hope it stays that way.

I took command of a company and am slowly developing homicidal tendencies.

We won the Cup and then we lost Bourdain. It's been a hell of an emotional roller coaster for the past 24 hours.

PCF: Congrats! How ya like it so far?

Eville: Thank you! I really enjoy smaller trucks.

Now I'm looking at new jobs, and seriously thinking of moving in with my long term girlfriend. Getting rid of two vehicles for one, was a big move for this change. Work wise I'm either gonna do something sales wise, or electrician.

I found out this week that Vegas had a team, it was their first year, and were in the Cup. I of course rooted for the underdog, which I found out from your post they had lost. I'm terrible at following hockey.

People who commit suicide don't want to die, they want the pain to end. It sucks that it happens, but understandable.

Speaking of cars:

My car has now crossed the decade barrier, and even though it's still in mostly good shape, there's enough small stuff that I've started considering what I want to replace it with when it finally does stop becoming economic to repair.

I want something bigger than a sedan but smaller than an SUV, that is reliable, and has good gas mileage.

I've looked a little at the Kia Soul, and despite the initial punchlines about the fact it had those hamster TV commercials, I think it's sort of the blueprint for what I'm after.

My S/O's car is even older than mine (A 2005 VW Beetle), but it has fewer miles. She's also started thinking about what the replacement will be. She like small odd cars. Her first car was a 1975 MG Midget, and that sort of set her preferences forever.

She's pretty convinced she wants a Honda Fit.
