Wow I looked around and now I feel old

December 2016.  Played pretty much every weekend when it wasn't too cold (and even all year through a couple of mild winters) for 31 years until I messed my back up again driving for work in October 2016.  (It was probably time to quit anyway.)  Can't bring myself to get rid of any of my paintball stuff so I maintain them and occasionally shoot them at the field's chrono station.  I try to get out to the field once or twice a month.  Don't play of course but BS with the guys I know, work on rentals for the guys from the field and fix mechanical markers for anyone that asks.  The field guys keep telling me I've built a lot of field credit so hopefully my granddaughter's will eventually decide to try out paintball.

Huh. Well, here we are, and here we go again!

Huh cool. I keep tripping over my old JT mask in my workshop and my 98C gets passed around to anyone needing a marker right now for something. But all my old squad has kids, works real jobs and have moved around the country and world in some cases. I think my brother has it?

I honestly can't recall when my main tank was last hydro'd. I've got a couple of mini bottles which are still current. Was looking at a second SL68II in the pawn shop recently but the feed tube was broken. I'd love one of the new markers but they'd end up on the wall next to my never used Ares M4 GBB.

Currently my 15-22 and Saiga 7.62x39mm get much more use out of them.

Thing is, with First Strike and the like, maybe someone DID actually have a big sniper rifle. That's something you can actually do these days.
