What did you GET for Xmas?

So, to go with Impulse's theme, what did you get from folks this year?

I got:

A pheasant hunting trip
Clothes from the wife
Ryobi Li-Ion Drill/Driver & Impact Driver combo w/ 2 batteries and charger
Money (which I used to buy a compressor and finish nailer)
Fallout 76
Air Fryer (I love this thing!)
New wallet

Mostly gift cards from the in laws. I never know what I want before hand so it works out. Wife and I got my son a bb gun. Now all I've heard is if he shot his eye out or not. Think I might get an eye patch for him for some photo ops.

Do you usually buy new or used vehicles? The only thing I don't like about my Taco is Toyota's Safety Sense crap. 

I like the new Ranger. Turbo'd motors make me nervous, and apparently the oil is a PITA to change. But that fuel economy, towing rating is on point. You can also build them exactly how you want them, which is nice. Toyota doesn't do that, you can "request" the model you want but they won't build your truck the way you want. But Toyota does offer a manual in the Tacoma as well.

I'm a new car guy. Turbos and oil I'm used to. Wife's Tucson is a 1.6T and you just have to make sure to use Syn every 5k and you're good.

Buddy of mine has a '00 Ranger XLT extended cab 4x4 with 170k miles on it. He's gonna give me a price. If it's sub $3k, I'll likely buy it to be my "around town" truck and then get something more practical for my actual daily driver.

That's what I did.  I keep my 05 Colorado for adventures and winter driving and drive my Mustang the rest of the time.  I'm really looking forward to the road trip back to the lower 48 this fall.

That's everyone these days. Hell, to take the air filter out of my '12 Legacy, you nearly need the jaws of life the way everything is shoehorned in and covered with plastic. Wife's Tucson 1.6T has better access to everything, but again, it's all covered in cowling to make it harder to see what you've got going on in there. They want you to take it to the dealer to maintain or fix it, that way they get a cut. Don't even get me started on Subaru and their damned fluids. Everything but gas and oil has to be their name-brand stuff due to increase operational pressures. Standard CVT fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, none of that works on a Subie anymore.
