I just bought a used Tippmann A5. When I get the gun hooked up with the co2/compressed air when it's not cocked, it leaks! The only way for me to stop the leaking is to cock the gun. I have never had this kinda problem with any tippmann guns that I have owned before. I dont know if it's because of the o rings or something else! Please help!!

Gentlemen, Why on earth would you make the same point about the wrong forum three times? If you're not going to be helpful- don't post.

I moved this to the maintenance forum and deleted the unnecessary posts.

Well in some cases the rear bolt has enough pressure on the valve to cause it to open slightly so when you pull it back it takes pressure off the valve. Not all tippmanns do this just some. I always cock mine before attaching the HPA so it does not do the jack hammer imitation.
