***Dont know what the quick strip mod is? http://www.model98.net/mod4.html ***

I was just talking with an millenium judge, and if you do a quick strip mode as I did, thats not legal in a tournament, if you use the millenium rules, and if you live in europe - they use that most..

If the mod is not done by a authoried / sertified tippmann modifcator(Is that typed correct?).. Then its not legal, and I guess that giving it to someone that are authorised is not kinda cheep.. And you cant use the hole that the safety pin is, cause in the rules there stands that you'll have to have a safety pin..

Sorry for my bad english but I hope you all understand it, and the risk of making an quick strip mode.. ( Does anyone want to sell left part of the recivers? :) )

The quick strip mod, is a modification where you cut your left reciver in half(Almost)... see link for a guide.

http://www.model98.net/mod4.html

Isn't there a better and a cheeper way to do it?, hehe..

I understand why they make thoose rules, it is actually 800psi inside that body, and if you dont seal it up right it could have som dangerous damage maybe... But then again, if for an example mantis(natural newbie) has done that mod - why cant they use that in millenium? jeje..

Actually, the only area in the gun with constant pressure on it is the CVX valve. I'm pretty sure it's safe (but I wouldn't suggest doing the following) to completely take the recievers off without any gas flying into your face.

that seems dumb why dint you just use a boat plug tech instead of an end cap that way you could field strip like an a5 without having to cut up you'r gun

hmmmm this mod concerns me because though i know the whole gun isnt under constant pressure when u do fire gas makes it way to the rear of the gun which if u have no cyclone hopper or rt that doesnt mean ne thing to u but to be i need that excess gas that escapes to the rear of the gun to power my cyclone feed and RT with that cut it how would u seal it to stop gas from exiting through that cut robbin u of ur power for the RT or Cyclone      and if u did seal it how would u re-seal it every time u access ur bolt

There is no "I" in "Team", but there sure is a "Me".

siranderz: I just thought I'd like to point out that your Enlgish is better than many people who write here who have it as a first language.

The RT and cyclone get thier air directly from the valve, so i think that having the reciver cut wouldnt affect that air.

the quick strip is mostly targeted to the ebolt users. It is a PITA to keep taking off the left receiver to clean out breaks in the front because, you have to deal with all the wires. I've done it, doen't effect the stability at all. Well, you just have to cut it right.
