Co2 tank with reg?

i just thought about this, what if you put an HPA tank regulater and pin valve onto a co2 tank. we know that an in-line reg will dramaticaly preform better with co2, so how about one right on the tank? i know the basics about regs, but do you think it would work? just an idea.

the only reg i know of that even works with CO2 is palmer's stabilizer... perhaps you are thinking of a pressure guage?

oh is it just palmers stab that works good with co2? i thought all regs did. like i said, i dont know much about that stuff. so i guess it wouldnt matter?

all regs work with CO2 as long as they are high pression regs, like the palmers

^ u sure about that? because a lot of regs say "for HPA/Compressed air only" even when they are high pressure
