i think some one should make an off-the-shelf, pre milled (alaliable in diffrent variations of milling) tippmann recievers for thse of us who cant mill ourselves (or who dont want to fork out the ca$h to have it done)

Not a bad idea at all, actually- receivers using designs that mimic real firearms, for instance, with ready acceptance of mag kits, etc. Look at what SmartParts did with their XM8 Milsim. Basically it's a rebodies Ion.

Yup, he actually said that.

Good Idea, but the fact of the matter is people mill thier guns to llok different, and original. It would end up like the Ion body kits old and not original anymore.

Sure, but look how many people buy the body kits.

Make a half dozen or a dozen different tippmann receivers. Safe bet is in any given town the odds or any two people with the same receiver running into each other aren't gonna be huge. It still gives some individuality. It's like when you run into someone else at the field who has a flatline, y'know?

Yeah, but a lot of people are nervous about doing that to their marker- or they doubt their ability to make a 'clean' job of it. I'm sure differently milled Tippys would find a market demand. And yes, you can paint your tippy- I've done that to mine, for instance, but for a lot of people the more mods the better, y'know?

They should make receivers with different shaped grips, like wider trigger frames and stuff. But not have to change the internals.
