Ok well im not sure if anyone has done this before, if not i havn't heard about it. Ok i have some woods near the back of my house and my and my buddies play pretty often out there. The problem was they were always whining about how theirs not enough cover so i looked around my house for things to make cheap baricades with. i found a very good and inexpensive way to create paintball barricades.

1. Get palets (4x4 is what i used but any size will be fine), Dark green tarp, razor knife and staple gun.
2. First lay out your tarp to where there are no wrinkles, weight down all the edges.
3. Put the side of the palet that you want to cover on top of tarp using as little material as possible.
4. Cut the outline of your palet with razor knife. (its ok if your lines aren't perfect.
5. Now you have your material cut out flip over your palet.
6. I used 8-9 staples per board, make sure that you staple down all the edges good.
7. Either staple any excess material to the bottom or side, or cut off.
And there you go a cheap barricade. To make stand up nail to tree.
WARNING: Will be fairly heavy, think about the weight before you build. Dont use a regular stapler it will NOT work.

you can build a framework out of PVC, it will be lighter, and portable.

Are you talking about PVC pipe? That could work do you know how much it is or the amount of bangs like on trees it can take. If PVC is cheap enough i will prolly get some. But as i said it was all i had laying around. and thnks for your input.

That's a really good idea, do paintballs ever go through these things? Cause I've been wanting to make a field out at my land where some of the bunkers are partially physically destructable. I was thinking about just getting a buncha refrigerator boxes from craigslist  and make some one time use house looking bunkers(read: destructable village) but as these'd be rebuildable with more tarp that'd be even better. And btw, so that people couldn't just tweak out on the destrucable bunkers I'd be limiting semi-auto guns on that field(my field, my guns, and my friends, not running a pay field so'd be no problem)

PVC would hold up, and its less than $2 for 10 feet of it.  Add about $.50 for each fitting necessary.

I'd say only do that if you can't find pallets for free though.  Keep in mind that PVC doesn't rot, however.
