Is it possible to disable the blowback feature of an a5? I wanna make mine unique and convert it into a pump paintball gun, but It would take some work and I need that disabled. Thanks!

Sure. Either modify the valve and build a threaded cap to block off the rear, or turn a new valve pin without the diameter change at the tip.

I have done this on my X-7 and 98 ebolt setups. This is what I did, it's easy if you have access to drills and taps.

Remove valve internals
tap valve stem hole #10-32 , but stop just before the tapered part of the tap goes through.
(You want the hole to be tapered a small amount)
Screw a banjo screw from a cyclone fitting in with red loctite on it until it just protrudes inside the face.
(It's ok if it twists off)
Grind the screw off flush with valve face
drill the hole in the banjo screw .004 larger than your valve stem.
Grind the bump off of your valve stem (poppet) so that it will pass through the hole smoothly.

Hope this helps Smile

Here's my X-7 ebolt valve for an example.
