All right I know that a lot of younger players now are looking for a way to build a sort of "paintball tank" because I have at least 2 ppl a week that are looking for some one that'll sell 'em one. And every tine I end up saying GOOD LUCK!Angry I was wondering if someone would start selling them because I know ppl have them. So if you'll think about getting one. PLZ TRY TO FIND A SHOP THAT SELLS 'EM.

Remember if you don't like igmo's you dont like me

Heh, me and my friends are working up the cash to buy 2 old beat up vans, and cut out holes in them and such, and play paintball between the vans in like a field or something. Thatd be awesome. Suggest that to some people.

You wanna make one or do you want real military vehicle to used as a paintball tank.....I saw a magazine at Barnes & Noble that sells used and discontinued military vehicles, in the same magazine, theyre advertizing and selling an old USMC Mule cargo carrier.

PVC and thick chainlinked netting is your friend.  Of course it is very primative, it is cheap and gets the job done never the less.
The desire for polyester is just to powerful.

Me and my buddy were looking for a new interior for his car in a junkyard (salvage yard). As we were walking along finding nothing, my buddy stops and says "Oh my god." I thought he found a really cool interior or something. Then I saw it. Hiding behind on old garage type thing, was a long grey "pipe" sticking out from behind it, off the ground a good 5-6 feet. We walked towards it, and when we got around the corner I almost lost control of my bladder. There, sitting in a salvage yard, was a late model Panzer IV. I couldn't even begin to think about the classification letter, I was completely awestruck. I could have walked out of there with a Panzer IV to my name, but unfortunately I didn't have 10 grand. Needless to say, I still don't have ten grand and I don't even know if it's still there. Now that would make quite a paintball tank. Hehe.

Well you can always sell yer car to get the Pz IV and if I had $100,000.00 I would get the last remaining fully operational Tiger I (not the Tiger tank that you saw in Saving Private Ryan).....its an authentic WWII German Tiger I.

Alright, here is an idea that worked for us... Buy an old car/van/truck/whatever for realy cheap, then strip the thing. Take EVERYTHING out of it just for extra space, but leave a few stools or benches for drivers and gunners. For a 15 passenger van, Cut out a two foot wide hole in the roof in the front and the back with 180 degree swivels facing opposite directions. Cut out a 1x1 square in doors, and insert guns on a rope swivel in each hole. cover the holes with something that will break incoming balls, and you are set... it may sound Redneck, but hey, I live in Iowa.

I've seen a couple of models that used:

1. Old golf cart
2. Lawnmower with blades removed.
3. Go kart
4. ATV
5. recently saw someone convert an lectric cart into it

all they did was build a dummy frame and attach plywood and
cutouts were made for the gunners and covered with either
netting or chicken wire. even saw one with mounted twin A5's
OMG. the imagination is your only limitation.
