why did u sticky the thread???? and in the wrong forum... this could turn ugly for u .... lol

CO2 is a liquid in the tank, it expands in the gun and/or expansion chamber to a gas that powers the paintball and accesories (r/t etc.)

pros:

-low cost for tanks

cons to co2:

-Possibility of spikes

-Freezups

-Liquid doesnt expand to gas

Because the CO2 is a liquid changing to a gas it needs certain temperatures to expand properly to a gas, if it is to cold then the liquid can not expand

N2 or HPA is already a gas compressed in the tank.

pros:

-No need for expansion

-with a proper regulator the gas will always enter the gun at a with good consistansy therfor giving a more consistant shot velocity wise

Cons:

-Tanks cost alot and so do regulators

-Hard to find a place to fills (where i am it is anyway)

Summary: if u have the money then hpa is the way to go, but its important to get a good reg, and being as how u have a tippmann u might want to look into the lpk.  u should get more shots per tank and really good consistancy.  if u dont get the lpk i'm prity sure u still need to get a vertical adapter for the reg
