Ok, i've been kicking this over in my mind for a week and a half, and i've now gone threw 2 different forums. and i've gotten all my answers. Now I have a new war. Im looking into getting a HPA Tank (probably a 68/4500 crossfire tank). I already have a CO2 20 oz. Now, here's the confrontation. The 20 oz. gets 1100, more or less, shots on a full bottle. Now, the 68/4500 psi. HPA tank gets 1000+ shots off. so, from what i can understand, the 20 oz. gets more shots, but the HPA gets more consistant shots. Am i right?

If your 20oz gets 1100 i have to go...idk but do something.  I have never heard of someone getting that many off a 20oz, especially because of its lower PSI.  I mean, unless your running at like 90psi or less i doubt you will get that many.  Anyway, a 68/45 will get like 1020, but that is running at a higher PSI.  If you have an LPR, you will get many more shots.  For instance, on my friends angel he has a 68/45 and running at about 90 PSI, he gets rougly 1500 shots or more out of his tank.  And yes, HPA is much more consistant, very few if any velocity spikes.

ok...

a few things... first off, i got the whole count thing off of paintballgear.com on there sales pitch part. second off, im not familiar with the term LPR, does that stand for Low Pressure Regulator? and finally, i think the tank i'm looking at is a preset, so i dont think i can drop it to 90 psi., but if i can, i'd do that.

thanks

if it helps, i'm putting the remote system and HPA on to my Pro Carbine... and i'm new to the whole HPA system... so forgive me for my ignorance.

****I've been looking at a lot of remote lines, and all of them but one says they run at 3000 psi. So i'm pretty sure that a tank at 4500 psi. cant go on them, right? and the only other one i've seen is an ACI coiled remote that says *Note: This remote can run any co2 and nitro/comp air tank. So i'm guessing that could, right? thanks again and once more, please forgive me for my ignorance...

The battery in my gun dies at roughly 800-1000, and my 20oz dies before my battery.  So I'm guessing the 20 oz get's about 700-800 shots.  Roughly.

If i am correct, a 3000psi Remote can handle a 4500 PSI tank.  Because as far as i know 4500 PSI means how much air is packed into the tank, not how much is being sent through the remote/macro/steel.  Whatever you use.  Correct me if im wrong though.  LPR means Low Preassure Regulator.  Also, you do not need HPA on a tippmann at all, especially a Pro/carbine.  But hey, go ahead.
