How fast do you have the etrig set at? There are multiple upgrades by Tech T that increase the capabilities of the cyclone. QEPH (quick exhaust piston housing) is one of them which vents the air from the cylinder allowing it to cycle faster. There is also the vortex mod and lightning rod and squishy paddles. Though I think that the QEPH is the most effective.

No, because the cyclone operates off of the excess blowback gas from the valve and the QEPH works by venting the air that is in the way. When there is no pressure on the cyclone piston then vents are in front of the piston and vent the air that needs to be compressed or squeezed out the little gaps in the cyclone housing. Then once the piston is full forward the air that was pushing the piston is vented allowing the cyclone to more quickly return to the resting position. Results in faster feed capability.
