I have a 68/3k fiber tank. I just recently got it hydro in march and i've used it like 3 times only and i was testing out my marker. Lucky i've used up all of the air, While i was unscrewing my tank, my Reg was unscrewing from my tank at the same time. So do i use some kind of loctite or sumthin on the Reg and just screw it back in?? I gotta wait til tuesday to bring it to pb shop.
shut up..or i'll blast ur a$$....

Some of the newer tanks have valves that are easily removable so that the empty tanks can be inspected for tranportation on commercial airlines. If the tank you have is not one of those types then yes, it needs to be LocTite'd in place.

The removable style valves cannot be removed with hand strength alone when the tank is pressurized.

Isn't that dangerous to be able to remove your valve by hand when you tanks pressurized at like 3k+psi? Do you know wut kind of loctite i need??

It's an 02 tank so is that one of the older ones? Thanks
