hello, my a-5 with e grip and a filled tank(hpa) will shoot about 8 or 10 times(on turbo)and than not shoot, until I move the cocking handle back just ever so sightly, the front bolt is back, and when I pull the triggerI can hear the e grip working,so could the drive spring be worn out? p.s. I don't run a rva.   thanx
my A-5 setup,sp freak kit,pro-seal powertube,E-grip,cp 45* drop,polished internals,GTA lpk,palmers fatty stab.crossfire 45/4500 ,dye rhino cover,jcs duel trigger

your gun is decocking due to a lack of airpressure. Drive spring would be the number one guess. Oil and lube everything first. Go from the cheapest fix to the most expensive.

if its still not working after that and you think its a spring issue, try putting a bb in the end cap to take up space where the drive pin and drive spring would go. this creates more tension on the spring because there less room than there was before. some people have used up tp 2. i have only used 1. it works great.

if that still doesn't work, you might try to get your hands on a set of madman springs if you can still find them (not making anymore)

or you can call tippmann, they have a newer, stiffer spring avaliable for those of us who need them.
