Well I was looking at a Graph(X,Y Axis) and was just looking at a Red Dot Scope on county(Im not buying one I was just snooping) And got an Idear, though there are to many criterias that will need to be in place for it to slighly work...

  • Bore Size of Barrel.
  • Brand of Barrel.
  • Marker Brand, and Model.
  • Velocity's Range Set at.(Ex: 240-290)
  • Brand of paint and its bore size.

The Scope would come with a Variety of Barrels already downloaded in it. (There would be a USB Slot so that you could download a certin barrel into it). It would also have a Wide variety of paintballs downloaded in it.

the second part(The part where it starts to get Hazey). It would have a Laser that you could point at the oppenent(Very Crummy) to detect how far away an oppenent is. Then using a X,Y. Targeting System it would align the Red Dot about the Area that you would need to Aim...

But there are to many problems in this Idea, and there would be several malfunctions in weather and debris in the way when it would cordinate the Area... Also I couldn't Imagine of how large this Scope would need to be... and the price would be horrific.

Anyone got other Idears on this?

Nice idea, but i believe there are already auto adjusting range finding red dot sights.  Well it they are different than this, but yeah.

I like the idea, but you're right: the thing would be huge and the price titanic. As glassjaw said, there are already range finding red dots out there, but they are very different.

I thought with a X,Y Coordinate System it would find like the perfect spot, but there is a another problem...

If a opponent would be really quick and move alot, it would be almost impossible for the Laser to Find his Distance. Also, you'd have to worry about Angles of your marker, and Elevation Diffrences in the woods.

Have you seen the OICW??? The scope with all those features
would probably be about that size(probably a litlle smaller) but
it would still be rather big.
