homemade double trigger

I was woundering if anyone knew where I could get supplies to make a double trigger? I looked at homedepot and I couldn't find anything except plexyglass and that costs like $15 to get a sheet the right thickness. I don't know anywhere to find 1/4" alunimun eather.

Try going to a local welding shop and asking for some scrap metal. If they're nice they'll just give it to you.

If you can't find a welding shop, try mcmaster.com or any other online supply company.

it doesnt even have to b a REAL double trigger just make it straight like the blade trigger or somethin like that u can just get a lil peice of scrap for that and it prolly wouldnt cost to much

I've seen some pics of some homemade triggers but if you have some could I get more. I was thinking of making the triggers on my jigsaw is that how most people make them

which gun are these for?
Will they be e-grip compatible?

What I did:

  1. took a single trigger and sliced it from the finger area down
  2. measured my round steel
  3. drilled a hole that size into the bottom of the trigger
  4. heated the bar over the stove with pliers
  5. forced the hot steel into the trigger
it hasn;t come loose yet and I did it over a year ago.

I am going to actually make one I want to see if I can do it, I think I can make a nice one that is comfortable, and I might try to sell these. I also want to try to make a guard for it too
