If you need to shoot faster than a cyclone can feed, you need to learn how to put your marker back in the closet now and then and do something else. 15+ BPS is just redundant. It's like ridiculously rich people arguing over who has the better set of golf clubs.

Edit to add: I just plugged some numbers througha calculaator. To run through a rope of paint at 15bps without getting hit, assuming a skinny person and 280fps paint, you need to run at a speed roughly equal to the world record pace for the 100 meter sprint. In a 15bps rope of paint, there is roughly 0.06 seconds between two consecutive balls passing through the same point. .06 seconds. That's firggin' ridiculously. I don't think even a .1 second gap is anything a human being can work with- so hell, drop BPS caps to 10bps.

My point is, pushing bayond the mechanically realistic highest rate of fire for a stock cyclone is beyond pointless. I challenge anyone to show me a realistic advantage that 23bps has over 15, or even 10.

That is true, but I'm already fighting the full-auto battle on another thread- let's not drag it over here.

But yeah, well done for pointing out pretty much THE single scenario where a higher BPS is genuinely more effective. I hadn't personally thought of that one.

	Brihard- I personally agree with you on that there should be bps caps. However, I can think of a scenario where a high BPS works better than a medium. Spreading your shots left to right, like you needed to quickly cover a group of targets in a cluster. This is the beauty of fully automatic fire however, it doesn't happen often in paintball.
