this may in the wrong forum, but here goes...

k so i am making a decision on which 2nd marker to buy. i have asked questions about autococker trilogies, and now i am thinking of getting an old spyder with a sight rail and offset hopper blah blah blah...

i know everybody is going to say go with the trilogy, but the reason i am trying to decide between the two is because whichever i get is going to be modded and put into a .22 wooden stock and turned into something with that effect, so on and so forth, and make it bolt action.

here is an example what i mean (its a spyder)

theres also a video on youtube (of course)

anywho... im wondering which marker would be better for something like this.

thoughts anyone?

the cocker would be best, your basicly making a pump kit for it. the spyder would probably fight you more.

true, but also i would have to make a plug to replace the 3-way parts or whatever (not having one doesnt require me to know anything about them(yet))

with the trilogy i would have a center feed hopper, and nowhere to put a scope/sight (no arguements about the scope dilema please, i read too many of those already) and with an older spyder i would be able to have a sight of some sort on it to help me aim, so on and so forth. with the trilogy i would have to manufacture a sight rail AND a new offset feed neck, which could be more work than i want. i do however have a better chance of getting the autococker.

but for now im still a fence-sitter (half one thing, half the other; in between the two)

the lig isent bad, you just would have to find a bolt and an o-ring to put in there. as for the offset you could always find an older cocker that has the offset feedneck.
