If any of you are sick of that braided cable on your 98 then this is a real cheap way to get rid of it. All you have to do is buy a male adaptor to screw into your powertube. All you have to do after that is hook up your remote line to the male adapter. Added manuverability AND no more braided cable!! Male adapter can be bought at any proshop for around $3-$5 Typical remote line goes for around $30 (If you already have one then more power to ya) Worked great on my 98C and I never regreted it. |

Yeah, that idea has been around for a long while. My brothers got it done on his A-5. The only problem I have with it, is My remote has a on/off slide, and that coupled with the initial female fitting, makes for this long vertical drop before the flex of the remote thats pretty annoying. I never really had a problem with the metal braided hose. But to each his own. |
