"Giant Game XII" WISCONSIN* 800 Players*

June 3, 2007 Hudson, Wisconsin. www.giantgame.com Only 25 minutes from Saint Paul, Minnesota.

This is a 8 hour scenario game with 800 players.
Two Teams with around 400 players on each side.
Game goes from 9am to 5pm.

Last June GBG had 714 players.

A lot of new forts and tower will be built just for this game!

AIR/C02: This event will have two (2) Air Compressors and a third for backup to guarantee plenty of HP Air. More C02 pumps have also been added as well. Making for faster refills. As always HP Air and C02 refills are included with Entry.

Paintballs: Splat Tag will be selling paintballs very cheap on location. Players can still bring their own paint at no extra cost. Yes this is a BYOP event.

Prizes: Splat Tag will be giving away Tippmann X7's and A-5's. Plus a lot of other great Prizes as well. Prizes will be given out after the game at 5:30pm.

Paintball TANKS: Players wishing to bring and drive a TANK, must contact Splat Tag for rule and permission. Special TANK Rules do apply.

GBGXII Game Patch: First 700 players will receive a GBGXII Game Patch.

Vendor: There will be a number of vendors on hand selling the latest in scenario paintball equipment and supplies.

The Battle Continues: (June game - 2007)
The year is 2017 - Four years after a massive asteroid collided with earth, destroying the entire eastern seaboard, eliminating our federal government, crippling our economy, and throwing the entire world into the chaos of a nuclear winter. The United States Federal Government was officially disbanded and governing responsibilities where handed down to the states & local level governments. Tensions rose as the remaining states in the former U.S. sealed their borders, organized their own military forces, and shored up their defenses to protect their natural resources and ensure the safety of their citizens.

Border tensions between the two great states of Wisconsin and Minnesota have gotten out of control as of late due to increased recon missions both states have been conducting on each other to acces military strengths and weaknesses. Senior military officials from Minnesota concluded that Wisconsin needed to be dealt with on a pro-active basis immediately in order to maintain secure borders. Minnesota struck first with its Fast Attack Force driving deep into Wisconsin territory. But Wisconsin would not fade quietly into the night and struck back with their rapid response unit to quickly halt the invading forces advance. The battle stalemated with massive losses to both sides. Decisive action is needed soon to break the other sides defenses and ensure victory for either Minnesota or Wisconsin.  This is where the next and perhaps final chapter of our story begins....

The massive troop losses taken during the initial battle is cause of great concern to senior military officials on both sides of this conflict. Additional military reinforcements are on their way to the front lines to fortify and solidify positions. However, the estimate on their arrival is unknown. To ensure the proper level of support for their front line positions, both Minnesota and Wisconsin have put the word out to all citizens to bear arms and support their state in this conflict. Who will answer the call and join their fellow statesmen in this time of greatest need?

Prize update: Splat Tag has added 5 paid entries to OK DDAY and a bus ride there and back. Leaves from St. Paul area.

Some small changes still to come. Notice the new un-mapped area, this area has never been played before. No one know what they may find. :)

TOWERS
We have added another Tower (see Map) to guard the open grass area for Giant Game XII. They are about 200 feet apart.
The Main Tower closes to the Road is call "Evil Tower". The new Tower to the West is called "Tippmann Tower". What everyone need to know about these Towers! First, the people in the Towers  will be shooting full-auto,  they can NOT be taken out/eliminated by shooting them, you are just wasting your paint. To start the Giant Game both Towers will neutral and can shoot at either Giant Team Red/Blue. To eliminate a tower and stop them from shooting, a player must tag any part of the tower. Towers can also be taken out by hitting it with a Nerf rocket that has been shot at it. Grenades will not eliminate Towers. To get the Tower to shoot for your Team you must raise your Teams color flag and the Tower will be fighting for your Team until someone from the other Team changes the flag or eliminates it by tagging the Tower. Tower can not shoot at each other, but both are independent from each other and could be fighting opposite Teams. Both Towers have their own set of flags. Only Splat Tag approved players are allowed in the Towers. We have already pick and trained these players. No one else is allowed to clime them or go in them. There may be times through out the game when the players in the Towers may need to take breaks, when they get back they will be fighting for what ever color team flag is up at that time.
