it would be cool to heve tippmann make carbon fibre body kits for the A-5 and 98c. They would make them much lighter not to mention extremely cool.

that way the tippmann becomes the civic of the paint ball indsutry?

or if another company just made another type of receiver for them.  they would really tap into the industry.  tippmann could compete with automags....

In order to improve the weight of the gun, the entire receiver would have to be CF. That, or gain weight by hybridizing CF with a metal core. Either way, that would be incredibly expensive and may not be structurally sound, depending. Considering most people load their 98's and A-5's with Mil sim stuff anyway, there is little market for a product like this, even if it did work.

i think that it would look extreamly cool. but i really dont care about weight. i got so much stuf on my gun anyway

You can make a CF body at home on your own. It would probably cost you more than the gun is worth to make, but if you used double layer CF it would definitely be strong enough. I have actually been looking into a way to do this, just don't have the space to work on it right now.
