Hey Guys, I don't know if there's any issue like this already posted on this forums, I'd try searching for it, but I couldn't find anything like the problem I'm having.
Anyway, I got this brand new X7 Phenom (G36 - customs), played 2 games only and at 2nd game, in thethe chrono area I noticed that the gun wasn't firing on mechanical mode, only on eletronic... well I ignored the problem at the time and played the whole game, but when I got home I realized that the problem was still there... OK I did the whole maintenance procedure for cleaning and greasing, since I had a few chops during the game, probably due to bad paint... after all cleaning/greased I reassemble the whole gun and mechanical wasn't firing properly, pressing the trigger many times, shaking the gun up and down, I could get few shoots, but far far away from a standard behavior. All my internals are stock. I already tryed the "trigger pin fix" on this video ( http://www.youtube.com/v/9yWBYOdRnos ), but didn't work as well. I got a bit desperated and broke the trigger by overscewing the little magnet thing back and forth. I already ordered a replacement, but then I realized that the magnet doesn't interfere on machanical working (right?). Well, to sum up, looks like the trigger has no enought action to properly kick trigger pin into the valve. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks guys! |

Ummm I'm stumped. I'd say you might want to call the Tippmann Costumer Support line and see what the techs can tell you. You. iChat have to send it in.

I did some testings... looks like if I pull the trigger and also squeeze the trigger upright it will fire 100%.
Can anyone tell if there's any tunning or replacement I should do? That's really frustrating...

UPDATE:
1) Trigger pin is fine, I just tested mine on my friend's gun worked perfectly. Also tryed his pin on my gun, same problem. 2) One thing strange I tested with "Trigger lever" (TA30013) on INVERTED position, and the gun shooted 100% on mechanical, but in this position, no eletronic activity since the lever can't catch the solenoid hammer. I have a theory, maybe the whole assemble of the E-Grip got a little bit loose with G36 trigger guard instalation and gaming. That would be a major design fail. I will be abck with another update after removing the G36 new trigger guard. Also wondering to put some tape around trigger lever to increase trigger action over the trigger pin. To bad I have to do that on a brand new marker. |

The issue will either be the trigger or the plastic trigger plates that house the trigger, spring & lever. If the new trigger you ordered fixes the issue then you have your answer. If it doesn't contact our service dept at 800 533 4831 to arrange some free replacement parts or to send your marker in for repair.
