I have 10 98 Platinums, basically brand new. All the tank adapter were removed, and I cant get them to screw back onto the gas line. It is not an issue with any of my older 98s, its something with the new adapters I guess. Any help? Any ideas?
They will barely screw on, but if you try to tighten them to where they wont leak, the hose wont even stay on,

You should check to see if you have the correct tank
adapters for the Platinum Series. They
are different from the earlier models.
The Platinum Series uses a self-sealing gas-line fitting & the older
style adapter would require thread sealant. They do not interchange. You
can contact our service department for more info at 800 533 4831. |

Thanks, I did figure that out, somehow I was given the wrong hoses, so it looks like I need 10 of the correct hoses. Thanks for the help.
