The 98c with a 16in barrel(note i didnt call it a sniper barrell) vs a victor w/ a 16 in barrel. The 98 will win. The victor is good and they will preform about the same except the 98c is industructable. A newer spyder in my opinion is better then a 98 but we arent talking about those are we.

the tippmann will last you much longer and cant be broken. the spyder is cheaper.... go with the tippmann, and look into a 14'' lapco or j&j barrel. good luck! |

r u asking which you shoudl get on a TIPPMANN forum? even
if the spyder was better (which i cannot accept, even tho i am fond of my esperit with the e-grip) there will be bias, just like if you were on kingman.com spyders would have more support, i have a 98c as well, except, it has a flatline, remote line, and f/x stock... Personnally, get the tippmann for its durability and it is soooo much easier to upgrade down teh road. |

go with the 98 custom, my freind has a spyder victor that he bought after i bought my 98 custom and his gun is already broken! he cant fix it because its expensive, i say 98 custom because they are built to last and for hard use and spyders are just there to sell and make money and if one thing is wrong with it the whole is baiscally broken.
