so, I have an FT-12 that leaks from the front and was wondering if there is a way to fix this without ruining the power tube. I have checked to make sure it isn't anything else like a bad seal somewhere else but all the seals were fine. I even put new O-rings on to make sure of it. And they are oiled up too.

Is it still leaking if the hammer is cocked ? Sometimes if the Valve spring is softer than in other valves so the not cocked hammer pushes a little bit on the valvepin, so it leaks.

May if you put some Drops(much, 10 or more) of good marker oil into the ASA and screw on the tank and fire ca. 50rounds so your valve inside(seal) will get oiled well. Wont help if there is something inside dirt etc. which lets the seal wonīt work !!!

Did you dissasembled the valve(which is inside the powertube) ?
You need to unscrew the gasline connector for to get the valve inside the powertube, out of it.

If it leaks from the front the valve doesnīt seal, the powertube just channels the pressure to both sides(hammer and bolt).

If you are a lucky one, one of the first ideas would help so you donīt Need to have to dissasemble the valve.

As spydercam said, the number one culprit of a leak down the barrel is from the hammer/striker not being cocked to the rear before connecting the air supply. If it's still occurring with the hammer cocked to the rear, then you have an issue with the seal inside the valve itself. It's not a hard fix if that's the issue, it's just a matter of a spring-clip retainer and pulling the valve apart to replace the cup seal (parts 51, 53, & 56 on the diagram in the above post). Like the above poster also noted, you can try a quick-and-dirty fix of putting some oil in the air supply adapter, removing the barrel (so you don't get oil all down it) and and firing off a bunch of shots in rapid succession to work oil into the valve seals.

Let us know if you're still having trouble with it after those quick fixes and we'll try to help from there.

I got a few markers working now thanks to both of these posts but I still have 2 that still leak. I cleaned everything good and replaced the o-rings as well, but they still leak. Any other tips?

If you could take some pics of part 56 and 53, both from the side of where it seals. Would help us !!!

If it looks good and there are no scratches etc. may you could install a extra washer which fits behind the valve spring to get more seal power.

We will get this done !!!

If it's air gushing down the barrel, then yeah, I'm thinking parts 56 and 53 both need to just be replaced unless something is stuck between them that could be knocked loose. That's the cup seal and the valve seat seal. That's what holds the air in the valve. Easy to replace in all honesty. The FT-12 runs a simplified CVX valve. To dismantle it, you remove the valve from the power tube, remove spring clip (number 57 in the schematic) and everything pops right out in order. Check the seals, replace if needed, put it back in the way it came out, put the spring clip back in, enjoy!
