Well I am not sure but I used to have leaks all the time maybe you need a new valve cuz thats what I needed, or it might be the hose or Vert. Adapt or w/e that connects to the powertube/ valve, take it apart and check where the leak is.

I had that problem once. Usually there is something wrong with the inside of the valve. I replaced my valve. If you are brave, you can open your valve and fix it yourself. Go to www.model98.net and click on useful info and "How to open your CVX valve" to see how to do that.

Take off your hose or vert adapter from the valve. Clean off the threads. Give it a few wraps of teflon tape, screw everything back together, say a little prayer, gas up your gun, and see if everything's good. If not, try more teflon tape. If that doesn't work, something's wrong with the valve, which isn't too hard to take apart. Another thing, always make sure you cock the gun before screwing on your tank. You'll wear out the valve if you don't. And always but a few drops of oil in your ASA, gas up the gun and shot it a few times to get oil in the valve, periodically.

Drop 5 drops of oil into the ASA and fire just gas without the barrel 40-50 shots. This will seal up any small leaking in the valve. The valve is often the most neglected part of the gun. Try that before anything else, and make sure its definatly out the barrel and not a fitting.
