So everyone knows, this is ONLY of interest to you if you have control of the field you play on. This is a thread for woodsball fighting positions, and I hope it is in the right section.

I thought you all may want some ideas for building cover. When I play woods I use trees and terrain. If I wanted to leave some real footprints I would dig a couple of these. Pictures speak better then words with these things. I did not draw these, I excerpted them.

Nice and easy:

Old Army way of doing it:

Nice two man fighting hole:

Modified two man:

Two man on steep terrain:

Build one design schematic:

Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken!

A grenade sump is a place that you hope grenades never go, unless they land in in your fighting hole. The floor of the hole is sloped so that it is easy to kick a grenade into the sump. The sump also provides water drainage. If you actually build these positions, look out for wildlife that will take up residence in your hole.
Think and give them all you have from the beginning, and never weaken!
