How fast can a stock 98 custom shoot? Does having a double trigger on a 98custom help?

well its a mech and tippmann so not very fast, the double trigger does make the pul better. but its hard to a walk a tippmann, if u want a gun cheap that can kinda shot fast i would suggest a electro sypder

yah i would say about 6 tops, and the double trigger doesnt really help the speed of it. It just makes the gun look better and its a little easier on ur fingers.

Milkman hit 18... I would guess like 5 with the stock trigger and like 8 with the double.

I have a dbl trig I think I can get 1-3 more bps just because with the bottom part of the trig you get a lighter trig pull because of leverage. |

The stock M98 will shoot at around bps, and yes a double trigger will help you get a little exta speed. If you really want to increase you ROF look at getting something like an E-bolt kit or RT kit.

the 98custom with an e-bolt kit is maxed at 13 balls a second on full auto. there is a special valve some tippmann effect players have that will reach 18 but the internals will not keep up. with the ebolt remove the trigger spring and it will make the trigger pull insanely lighter.

I have the BSI kit and I've walked my 98c up to 18 Bps before it started skipping and missfireing.

My R/T will shoot very fast, uncontrollably fast. If I get over about 12-14 bps it won't recock the marker. So I leave it at about 11 or so bps. That is all trigger bounce, I am not pulling the trigger that fast by any means. The cyclic rate of an M60 machine gun is 10 rounds per second or 600 rounds per minute. And I think that is plenty fast for the type of paintball I play.
Shooting fast is fun though...when the going gets tough...the tough go cyclic |

^^RLTW^^ It is possible to get alot of bps out of a 98, especially with the rt. With a double trigger and some spring/travel mods, you can walk a 98, though the speed is limited. With the comp air kit, you should be able to get even more speed, due to the lighter hammer. One of the guys I play speedball with uses an insanely fast 98, it isn't very heavily modified, he just knows how to use it.
