before i put in the barrel adapter, the gun (stock a-5) shot fine, i could even hit a telephone pole about 50 feet away with it, but after i put in the barrel adapter i had more paintballs bust in the barrel then actually shoot (but it will shoot) and the adapter, which is a lapco autococker to a-5 and is adapting a new Dye Xcel barrel, is loose and comes out when i try to unscrew the barrel. Is there any hope for this gun? |

Yes- thats the one where you take your gun apart to put it in, right? Well, I haven't had much luck with there adapters. You can try to tighten the two front screws up real tight, and see if that does the trick (after you re-align the tabs). However, I think I might know what your problem is. The paint you're using is too small for the Dye Xcel barrel. Most Dye barrels only accept small to medium-small bore paint. Basically, that barrel doesn't like Wal-mart. |

That would expaline alot, i was using month old brass eagle wild streak that my grandma gave me and i didnt want her to feel bad. Now im using Evil paint and a brand i dont know but it has smile faces on it. That still leaves the adapter problem |
