   Work mostly. I'm in a district-level position with my company and more than likely will apply internally for an opening on our strategic initiatives team where I'd basically work for our own internal think tank. Doubt I'll get it, but shoot for the heavens and land among the stars and all that. My kid is almost 11 which is crazy to think about. Been to France, Belgium, Germany and Italy in the past few years with the family. More travel abroad than I'd ever imagined I'd get in this lifetime, and now we're headed to ME for our summer vacation to see Acadia National Park. 

Got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes last April. Got my A1C down to 5.4 within 3 months. That was going straight keto though. Dropped 25lbs since then without any of the GLP1 meds. Took another blood draw in January, A1C crept up a little bit to a "pre-diabetic" 5.8, but that's still way better than where I was.

	Well hell... Sorry to hear. That edited runs in the family, so I know how that complicates things. I wish I travelled more. We went to Thailand last year, and it was wonderful. My wife is Thai, so I met the in-laws and they got to meet me and Boy. It was a great trip, and they're all sweethearts. More importantly, it seems like they liked me too! They're rural Thai folk, so they've been through it, and if they like me, I can't help but be flattered... And yeah, I know SE Asia's rep for marrying into money. I assured them I have none of that, and they STILL let me sleep at their place, so all's well!
