Can anyone recommend a good guide on tweaking the JCS Duel Trigger for A5 E-Grip? Ive done a bit of looking around but have not found quite what I am looking for.

I just got the thing, and I have not been able to calibrate it such the E-Grip fires in semi-auto as it should with frequency. The stock E-Grip trigger works fine. Thanks.

Yes, the instuctions for the JCS and very poor. I have mine setup very well, i had to just play with the adjustments for an hour or so until i figured it out and was able to get it dialed in. I say just play with it until you get it to feel good for you. If you still cant get it, try your local shop, they might be able to help you get it set up. If you Still cant get it post again and ill try to explain it better.

Thanks for replying.

First off, the E-Grip with the default trigger works fine. Prior to making any modifications I put the JCS in just to see how it would work stock. The steel nub that holds down the E-Grip activation contact (in the default position) appeared to be fine. However, when I pull the trigger the E-Grip was not activating with any frequency. So as recommended by the JCS manual I attempted to adjust the trigger such that the trigger rested evenly on the base pin by altering the horizontal spring screw. After a variety of tweaking the horizontal screw I was not able to get it where it would consistently activate the E-Grip. One thing I was not sure about is, if the nub that contacts the E-Grip trigger point should be facing sideways or straight down. My JCS came with it pointing towards the left (from the perspective of the rear of the gun).

I am sure with time and patience I will be able to fix the trigger, whoever I would appreciate some pointers in an effort to save time.

BTW, I noticed you have the madman spring kit, I picked one up which I planned to play with once I have everything else in the gun working perfectly (I recently added in an LPK with a Palmer Stablizier and have a Palmer Fatty coming). Did you utilize all the springs in the kit, or only specific ones?

Thanks.
