A Historical Scenario Game

 On November 14, 1965, three battalions of the 1st Calvary took on 2 North Vietnamese Army regiments at the base of Chu Pong Mountain in South Vietnam.  This bloody battle has been immortalized in print and the movie “We Were Soldiers”.

Landing Zone X-Ray was the scene of an exceptionally vicious fight, especially for members of the 2nd Battalion, 7th Calvary and the various North Vietnamese forces. This was the first battle that helicopters were used in significant numbers in the Vietnam War, and was also the first time that U.S. and NVA forces went toe to toe in a conventional fight. Come out and help recreate the battle that shaped the Vietnam War.

Field Fee on Day of Game:  $35.00

Pre Register on or before November 10, 2006:  ONLY $25.00

(Registration includes all day air/CO2 and field fee)

This is a field paint only event. Paint will be available from $40.00 a case and up.

Game will start promptly at 10:30 and end at 5:00, raffle, awards and prizes at 5:30.  Field will open at 8:30.
