is the buffer o ring really important( the one that floats behind the rear bolt) im just wondering cuz minbe is realy screwed up and i might get a chance to play this weekend for the first time this spring(cant let that pass me by) so thanks for any help in advance

It helps lessen the recoil and keeps the back bolt and drive spring from slamming. Get a new one. I would swing by a shop or call the field shop and see if they can hook you up. Why take the chance of yours jamming up your gun. A full o-ring kit is only a few bucks and should be part of you kit.

drop any size o-ring around the spring guide, problem solved.

Tank o-rings will suffice in a pinch. Anything to soften the blow of the
rear hammer sliding back and forth. |
