while firing my 98c seems to loose pressure. Sometimes requiring me to recock. This is very frustrating to lean out from a bunker and either not fire or the paint only go 25 feet. This happens once or twice during a match.

I'm pretty new at all this, but are you using Co2 or HPA?

If you're using Co2, couldn't that cause the problem by getting too cold?  Another thing I've heard about is an expansion chamber.  As I said, I'm new, so I could be way off!

Chris.

Make sure the valve bolts on the right side of your gun arnt loose. Be carefull not to overtighten them. Also be sure that your tank isnt low, or its cold out causing pressure drop.

Its most likley your valve bolts though.

I'm using CO2, and my valve bolts are tight. It has been around 80 or so degrees while this is happening.

Chances are that if you took apart your gun when you rut it back together it damaged one of the R/T o-rings....Probably the o-ring on the top of the cylinder
