Hey guys new to the form but used tippman for a while.

ok I got a prob I got the new Custom Pro (reg) cause i sold my old 98c a year ago and I have played with it 3 times, now I went out to the field yesterday and my gun shot about 50 times then went into this like full auto but no balls thing. and I got to stop the bolt with my hand ( it hurt) so i ordered a new sear from tippmann and I hope it fixes it but I am wondering if anyone else has any ideas. Everything looks ok inside(except the sear) the bolt and everything all look good.

oh and when it did the auto thing it drained like 700psi from my tank I dont know if that helps or what but any help would be greatly apreciated.

Josh

when guns are low on air they tend to do a rapid "brrrrrrrrrrp" kinda deal. Was you tank full?

Yes Brand new 300psi tank fully filled

and the field ran our of CO2 last week and I barrowed the owners air and it worked fine for 6 hours on air so I dont think it is the tank, and i used his tank again sunday to make sure and it did the same thing.

The bolt isn't catching the sear, so I would say maybe a bad fill or maybe you should polish your sear and internals...

Im almost positive its your tank. If the gauge reads at or under 1000psi, your out. Since Tippmanns cant operate under 800psi, the tank was probaly just around that and all of a sudden there wasnt enough pressure to blow back the bolt enough resulting in a continuous cycle. And since you said it was at 700psi afterward, it makes a lot of sense.

And by the way its 3000psi, not 300.
