Okay here it is. I am going to attempt to make a stock for my 98c out of 1" wide Aluminum. It will attach to the bottom of the grip. It will have a dropforward bilt into it and the tank adapter will go there. Then i will be able to screw in the tank. I will try to make it today if i can and post some pics. I am thinking if it works out well i can make more and sell them to the kids with 98c's that live around here. What do you guy's think. |

I did the exact same thing like a year ago using I think an Iron bar. Use a 1/2 inch wide piece that's 1/8 thick. Either paint it or cover it in electrical tape to prevent rusting. Cut off the excess metal and sand down the ends to prevent yourself from getting cut.
The tank is now tucked in more and I have a flatline on the gun.  Edited by Tolgak |

Yeah that was me that made the stock. You could check mine out and for your drop, you could just get a longer strip and bend it down into the shape you want... do you get what im saying? |

Yeah dude i get what your saying and that was what i was going to do. But i ordered a Lapco Front Grip in the mail. And if i make a drop it will interfer with the grip. So with my genius thinking (yeah right) i made a plan to gust rase the stock up in the back so it will not interfer with anything.
I would post some picks but I don't know how to. Can anyone tell me how to post pics. |

Jayloo allows you to freely post as many pics as you want just as long as you don't abuse it. The downside is that uninvited people can see and use your pics, so rules are placed that limit the content of the pics to PG-13.
It's almost completely paintball based except for a sig and Misc section. |

hmmmmm a very old and useful idea that has already been used....I'll ask the pro shop owner in my city to email me his pic of a aluminum stock that he has on his A5, infact Imma go get one fer my 98c, the stock he uses is extremely light but, very sturdy.
