Any ideas or thoughts on having the manufacturers of paintballs put when the paint was made on the outside of the cases. That way, when you are buying a case of paint, you know exactly how long that paint has been sitting around. If it has been sitting around for too long, complain to the store owner/manager about old paint.

not an idea. some, but not all paint has a code somewhere on the box. its usually something like this XXX26004XXX. that code would mean it was made the 26th week of 2004. some codes dont have the x's and its just a long number with extra numbers, like line number, shift number, ect. but look for the week and the year in it.

even so, they should put a little sticker or something on the box that tells you the date. much simpler.

The owner should usually let you open the box and look through it to make sure its alright.  If he doesn't, just ask to.
The desire for polyester is just to powerful.
