Blunt paintball weapon idea

FYI: I havent searched for this because i assume my ideas are origional.

You know how people have been going on about paintball "Knives" and all this outher wild crap, i was thinking about that when i first heard about it and i think its stupid, i wouldnt want to get that close to slash a guy i rather wack him from maybe 3 or 4 feet, i can be sneaky if i want to but when the adrinaline is flowing im a noisy brute who likes to growl and smash people so the getting close undetected wont work for me, and besides the only way a paintball knife could work is to have a knife handle, a shief full of paint and a paintbrush for a blade (you know the really rough hard ones) but if someone stuck me with that i would knock them down with my guns stock.. i was thinking maybe a mace or an axe would do, just get a stick and glue paintballs to it, and hit them with the paintballs stuck on the stick, its one time use but it works, i might make one if i decide to be sneaky and wack people in the back but I would rather shoot them it takes less effort. im posting this to give people ideas so they can invent something that is at least half useful... personally i want a gun camra (like in ghost recon 2) so ill ask about that in my next post...
