Alright well my friend bought a new gun without even playing a year (he's rich). No matter how much I told him not to, he bought an autococker. I know there good guns but we just play in backyards and stuff and theres no need to have a 300 dollar gun for that. But ya he got it. And if expecting to use c02 anti-siphon on it. Anyway he got it, couldn't get it to work so he gave it to me to try and get it going. I gave it my best shot but know nothing about cockers so could anyone help me out. It's out of the box never been shot before. What am I doing wrong with it and also if we do get it working could he us anti siphoned c02 on it?

yeah anti-syphon CO2 will work just fine.

Autocockers are a bit tricky and many things can go wrong with them. More details as to what isn;t working or a picture is required to give a good answer.

The gun should have come with an instruction manual. You should try following the troubleshooting steps.

Sorry guys, now that I read my post, it is pretty vauge. Well I don't think anything is wrong with it, it just wont shoot. I put a full c02 into it, pulled the trigger, nothing happened. So then I pulled the bolt back and fired, still nothing happened. Once again I kno nothing about autocockers. So those of you who have bought one or knows someone who has, could you tell me what all, if anything, you had to do before you got it firing. And I asked him if he had an instruction booklet but he said his mom threw it away. I'm sorry I'm not giving much detail but I really don't know anyhting else except its brand new and I can't get it to fire.

I know that pre-anti-siphoned tanks have an on/off know. Are you turning this if it has one? Is the tank full? Even with a very slight amout of pressure in the tank youd be getting some kind of reaction in the gun.

No, the tank doesn't have an on/off or anything like that. Well I guess there's just something I'm missing. Thanks guys, I'll just try again.

Tell him to sell it on eBay and buy a Tippmann. I would say that Tippmann owners spend much less time tinkering with their markers trying to make them work whiel sitting on the tailgate of a truck than anyone.

Maybe, the regulator is set too low. It doesnt sound like there is air getting to the gun. I hate to say this, but is there air in the tank?

The only time when it wouldnt be fuctioning at all like this is when your tank has less than 70psi in it. Above that the pneumatics operate. You can operate the pneumatics off of a garage compressor.

If you bought the AS tank and never got it filled, its not filled. They never fill it for you.

Ya the tank is filled. And Monk just pointed out what might be the problem. Having used tippmanns and spyders, I never had to deal with regulators. I'll look into that. And Arbites, ya your right, he should sell it but I dont think he wants to go through all that trouble, he's pretty lazy.

Cant be the reg. Theres nothing it could be with the reg unless it were somhow broken inside to cause this. Does the AS tank work on a differant gun properly? Try a regular tank on the cocker, and your AS on a differant gun.
