I have 2 20oz co2 tanks and i had to get them fixed 4 times. they are only about 2 months old and when i will take them off my gun the co2 will leak out, then i will have to get them fixed. I asked the guy at my paintball place if its the conector to the gun but he said no becuase it didnt happen with his tank, but it takes a couple of times for it to happen not just one time i was thinking of getting a new connector for it but idk can u tell me what I sould do. |

unscrew your tank 3/4 or 1 full turn then shoot all the co2 out of the system before continuing to unscrew the tank. the reason you're ruining so many o-rings (i assume that is what you are having replaced) is that the pressure is bleeding by the o-ring tearing or cutting it on the sharp edges inside your ASA, shooting the pressure off before unscrewing the tank prevents this. i use this method and have never replaced an o-ring yet.

i dont think its the o ring cause the guy has to take the whole top off the co2 tank and i think its like the spring or somthing on the inside of the co2 ill do what u do just to make sure once i get the tanks fixed

does all the co2 come rushing out when you remove the tank? if so there could be foreign material in the tank that is blocking the valve from closing all the way mostly happens with a tank that has been taken apart and care isn't taken to remove ALL the old loctite from the internal threads and it finds it's way into the tank just a thought let us know when you figure it out |
