    Posted: 03 July 2005 at 1:57pm

I have a huge problem with my rt.  I have a custom pro response , wich is a 98 custom, a drop, and a double trigger.  When i am dry firing my gun , every once in awhile ill pull the trigger and it will go nuts, it will just keep firing and firing until i stop the bolt.  Please help

Another problem is when i am firing my gun with paint, every few shots, when i pull the trigger nothing will happen, the gun is still cocked, but no paint will shoot, so i have to pull the bolt back the extra cm to get it to shoot again.  please ehlp

Well your first problem could posibly be caused of lack of air in your tank...If not then you may have to ask someone else here.....Second problem is it may be because there is a paintball only half fed so it cant go all the way forward and gets stuck...also I have two questions....what kind of hopper and have you oiled it?

It happens to me too on occasion.

First problem, not enough air in the tank, or not enough air going through the valve to recock the gun fully. That could be caused by shooting too fast without an x-chamber.

Second problem, I get it too, and it's not your hopper. A paintball will not stop the bolt, the bolt would destroy a paintball. Again, I beleive it's because there is not enough blowback force present to recock the gun. It's happened to me maybe...4 times, I just quickly recock and off I go.

The paint from the paintball might have got in your r/t so it sticks, happened to me. Also did you do any mods on your trigger??

I've actually dropped my feedneck down to see a ball stopping the bolt on my 98C. It does have the LP kit and the balls might have been a bit harder, but it can happen.
