I wanan install my new drop forward, cant get the ASA off of my 98c what should i use to get it off

Put the ASA in a vice and twist off the line with a wrench. This should work (worked for me anyway).

Unscre the two bottom screws so its hanging. Get a vise, channel locks, or large pliers and put the ASA in it, get the appropriate wrench, and twist off. It should be hard. Remember, lefty loosy, right tighty! It makes it a lot easier to take out the valve/powertubbe assembly first. |
