ok i installed the lpk into my a5 got it working go me i think. i alos
have the palamer fatty installed on it and the e-grip. well here is the
problem i ran into when i first got the lpk installed and loaded co2 to
it (HPA tank not in yet) all went well i cocked it and fired well then
the gun just went off the wall i had to manualy recock it or it woulnd
push the power tube back all the way to the trigger. well after many
times of cutting the spring it would go back to the trigger like its
supposed to. well now when i first load co2 to the gun cock it and fire
it slipps i then recock it and its fine from that point on can some one
tell me how to make it quit slipping. thanks.
ps.. do i really need the vertical drop that comes with the lpk or can i straight line the faty so i can a flat grip back. |

First let's get the terminology correct, you are saying that the hammer was not getting blown back far enough to engage the sear? If that is the problem then the solution is that the Palmer needs to be adjusted to provide a higher pressure to the gun. Cutting the spring is also an acceptable way to lighten resistance to allow for blow back cocking with lower pressures Are you also saying that when you first install the pressure cylinder that the first shot is uncommanded; that the hammer "slips" from engagement with the sear? Then you cock the gun (pulling the hammer back to engage the sear) and thereafter it operates just fine? Have you modified the trigger in any way such as installing a lighter return spring on the trigger itself. When you install the cylinder is the trigger safety in the safe position? |
